TEEN MINISTRY

Purpose:

The Teen Ministry of Lighthouse has the desire to teach and equip
our teens to be young people that can live a life of Godly testimony
and serve their Savior without shame.
( I Timothy 4:12; Proverbs 3:1-2)

Ministries and Activities:

HISspace Teen Ministry - Once a month our teens have an activity called Hisspace.  With so many teens concerned today about their "myspace" we wanted to make sure that we did not miss the fact that every where we are and whatever we do that we know we are  living in Hisspace.  It is our focus for Jesus Christ to be first in the lives of our teens.

Teen Sunday School - Each Sunday morning the teens of Lighthouse
have a class that is designed exclusively for them.  The learning
material is subject matter that applies to the needs and pressures
of teens today.

Teen Activities - Activities are scheduled regularly for our young people. 
These outings are for the purpose of giving our teens an opportunity to
have a good time in a safe and Godly environment.

Conferences and Retreats - Our teens also have the opportunity to go
to teen retreats, conferences and camps at different times.

Teen Missions Trips - The teens are encouraged to be a part of an annual teen missions trip to some part of the world where they can see first hand what it means to carry out the Great Commission.
